I have very curly hair and I dont like to blow dry, so i am on a constant mission to find a great flat iron. This iron was not it. I really need to go over the section of hair 2-4 times before it really gets straight. My hair would get reasonably straight but after about 2 hours my hair starts to get wavy. I guess it would be good for wavy hair but if you have curly hair dont get this iron.

This Iron was poorly constructed. I bought the item at Folica.com and I sent it back right away. The plates don't touch each other and had to squeeze really hard for the plates to come to each other. My arm hurt after using it for 15 minutes. It doesn't glide smoothly on the hair. Overall the product is not worth $85 not even $20. My cheap iron worked better. So for those of you looking to but this product i say save your money or invest more on better products like GHD flat iron.

I finally got the pink iron that i have been dreaming of! And best of all, i got the dream hair as well!

I bought this Solia flat iron totally by accident, I was planning to buy another model, but it came out dramatically AWESOME! It is much better than all other brands I had before!

Ordered this from Folica for $85. When it arrived I took one look and sent it back. The plates only touched on the very tip and had a pretty large gap going towards the hinge. If I had kept it I would have had to use a lot of pressure to get the plates to go flat together. My friend has a FHI and the plates are flat together like pancakes and it was SO easy to use. Folica reviews said great things about this Solia, but when I posted a bad review, they haven't put it up yet. Hhhmmm...
