BETTER THAN TURBO CHI

I first purchased the chi turbo which i would rate a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. It never seemed to get hot enough to do its job. I then decided to give chi another chance and purchased this one. The BEST decision i've ever made, it works great. I have long thick and for the most part straight hair. But my biggest problem is TOO MUCH VOLUME, and the chi helped me with that. it doesnt have all the heat settings like the turbo, but you dont need them because this one gets hot and fast.

so i bought the chi. it worked really well on my hair. i only dropped it once and it bascially broke. where the cord connected to the iron would spin and would make it work only when it was spun to some parts. i dont recommend this but i do recomend the infrashine :)

GREAT!!!

I have coarse wavy hair and the CHI worked great. It lasted me three years without any problem and I dropped it a ton of times. It would have lasted me longer but I took it overseas to Europe and the converter didn't work so it got burned. I think someone said it works in other countries with an adapter and a converter. Either way it is a great straightner. I was looking for a replacement and have decided to go back to CHI. Everyone also needs to remember that depending on the person and the place the results of the flat iron will vary so my advise when u find one that works stick with it and for me thats the CHI

I bought the chi and it worked but it made my hair dry and if I came it contact with moisture my hair would frizz up. After about a year it BROKE, it would only work if I turned the cord and then it would turn back off. I don't recommend chi, use your money to buy sometime better.

Going on 4 years...love my 1" Chi iron..my son (has short hair) uses his 1/2" daily..my daughters are v-happy (one did replace hers since; friends dropped & abused it too many times). The Turbo(pricier) is NOT better - so forget it!
