After reading so many rave reviews, I was excited to try a t3. Boy am I disappointed! I have layered hair that flips up at the ends. No matter what temperature I set the t3 to, it wouldn't get my ends straight. Also I like to use a flat iron to spike the top of my hair to give it volume. No such luck with the t3 -- I had better volumizing results with my $30 Remington. The t3 design looks & feels very flimsy to me, like cheap plastic. Every flat iron I've owned whether cheap or expensive have had a thick black cord. The t3 has a thin white cord which doesn't look or feel very sturdy. Thank goodness I bought it on eBay & didn't paid about 1/4 of what it retails for. I can't believe they have the NERVE to charge $200 for this thing!

I purchased one for myself and one for my mom a little over a year ago, everything was perfect until mine started turning off while doing my hair. Within days it wouldnt turn on. So I went and borrowed my moms which had the same problem.
