First off, it has no temp control, second, the plates are fixed not floating, so it never closes flat like CHI, third, its not real ceramic - its painted aluminum, fourth, the guys who sell them are the ones who wrote the fony reviews here that are good. Any person who's used a pro model could tell the difference |

I have to admit I was skeptical to purchase the PHI due to it's low price tag. Let me tell you, this was the best $70 I've ever spent in my LIFE!! I thought you had to spend $130+ to get a good iron!! I was very seriously looking into getting my hair chemically straightened (costs almost $1000) because I felt my hair had no hope of ever being straight. My hair, naturally, is very thick, curly, frizzy, and poofy. I decided to purchase the PHI; after its first usage, my hair looked like it belonged in a magazine. It looked absolutely perfect. I slept on it for three days, was out in the humid (90 degree) weather ALL day, and my hair retained itself perfectly. It not only is smooth and sleek, it is shinier than it has ever been also. THIS ITEM IS A MUST HAVE IF YOU WANT STRAIGHT HAIR, HANDS DOWN! Do not buy anything else because it is expensive, trust me! This beauty is worth hundreds of dollars and has given me confidence that I never had before. Thanks PHI!!!! |
