This flat iron is fabulous! I bought it specifically for my daughter whose hair is super thick, course and natural (no chemicals). None of the other flat irons worked. Although I paid $150 for it from the mall, it is worth the money. When I flat iron my daughter's hair now, it straightens easily (even at the roots)and it doesn't pull or burn her hair. I can even do curls with the flat iron. To top it all off, I got in my favorite color....PURPLE!!

I agree with the last comment, whoever made the negative comment must not know HOW TO FLAT IORN HAIR!!! This product is amaaaazing! I thought the lady at mall hoodwinked me, I'm glad she did! Even though I paid $80 for mine, slightly higher than some others I know still got a bargain compared to those who have spent $200!!! Anyway, I knew it was a keeper when I saw how straight my edges were w/o a relaxer! That's the problem I had with flat-irons before... they could never catch the edges... I think I've fallen in love!!!

It works...i luv it and I must say that the people that make negative comments on this product must not know the proper way to use it....LEARN...and u will like it...... I bought one...and 4 of my family members bought it after that, and they love it......great investment..

that person who wrote the perfect review for cortex is lying. they must work work the company. The cortex is horrible. It yanks and pulls at hair when straightening and it dries out the ends. Way over priced. Was from mall so that tells u that its sketch.

Very good flat iron! I had the Chi and this is better. I don't get burns anymore and the Chi always burns you if you are not careful. Highly recommended but I wouldn't pay over $150.00 The Chi is Over Rated.
