I bought this mini flat iron for travel. The size is great, but the design is poor. I burned myself several times, not from the plates but from the outside top and bottom. It is short so your fingers always manage to move out to the middle of the flat iron and touch the hot outer section. I have never had this problem with my full size flat iron. It is difficult to use as there is no protection for your fingers along the outer top.

I have this mini flat iron in my office, and I use it sometimes before I go out to meet my clients. It’s a very good tool for convenient use, coz it’s very small but very efficient. I think it’s a very good beauty tool for people who have the same need like me to buy.

I know someone who got this because it also curled hair. They really like it but decided to sell it instead. The person who bought it really liked it because it straightened really well! This person had really curly natural hair. But after the second use of it on the highest setting her natural curl wouldn't come back, just a wave. So I reccomend not buying it, or if you do make sure to use it on a lower setting otherwise it may take a really long time to go back.
