ALOT OF CASH 4 CRAP!
Reviewed by: Ashlee from canada, Thu Jan 17 2008
I just recently purchased this straightener because my old one does not get hot enought for me so I went into a salon and asked if this one got really hot and was good and she said yes...and since i've only ever bought cheap ones before and seeing this one was regular $100 on for $60 I thought it'd be great WRONG! It doesn't even get hot enough to straighten my hair, so I have to go over it 3x to get it to work and it rips the crap out of your hair! So causes damage and doesn't do the job. I am so not impressed with this item at all especially for the price it is. Do not rely on the price tag for the quality of a product :[

Severe Damage!!!!
Reviewed by: Amanda Kirby from Medford, Oregon, Tue Oct 9 2007
I bought this flat iron 2 years ago to use in my salon. It seemed like a great iron until I started seeing all the damage. You can't get close to the scalp because of the wrap-around beveled edges....severe scalp burns!!! There are tiny gaps between the plates and the unit. Your hair gets caught in between and it's ripped out of your head!! OUCH!! I pulled it out of my salon within 2 months of purchase, and used it at home on myself. I tried to be careful and keep my hair centered on the plates. This was impossible, now I have mass amounts of hair breakage and a broken flat iron!!! Food for Thought....the best iron I have ever used only cost about $16.00, proof that higher cost doesn't always mean better quality.

Wigo Jade Flat iron
Reviewed by: Jamie from Georgia, Fri Nov 10 2006
I bought the wigo jade flat iron from TJ maxx today for 30 bucks, I absoutly love it, this is my 3rd straightening iron and will use it. I have thick curly hair/sometimes wavy hair and it worked great. I finished my whole head under 7 min and it looks great. Definetly recommend it esp if you get it a good price.

i love the wigo (wish it was wider for my longer hair)... the only downfall is that if i try to straighten and utilize the whole width, my hair will get stuck in the plastic near the 'lever'. not sure if this is a design flaw or production, but ouch!
