Disappointed

At first I was in love with this flat iron. But after a few months the plates started to discolor and now the ceramic is wearing off completely. I'm quite disappointed as I already threw away the warranty. I will try a 'Chi' next time as I've only heard good things about them.

I bought this flat iron in January and noticed the plates discoloring. I have thick, coarse curly hair and need it pretty hot to get my hair straight so I thought that's why the ceramic coating started to come off the plates. I returned it for a new one in March but it's still doing the same thing.

It straightens well but it continually breaks down. I got my first one and after 8 months it wouldnt turn on anymore (the red light would light up but it wouldnt get hot) so i returned it for a new one and 7 months later its doing the same thing. Its more of a hassle than anything.

Best straightener i've ever used. i straighten ever day and i absolutely can't leave the house w/o using this striaghtener! This product heats up super fast, gets rid of puffyness and the most extreme frizz. It's all in the tecnique as i like to say. best results if u straighten in "layers" and 1" sections at a time. i experienced plate discoloration after a few months but it still works great!

BaByliss makes really poor quality products, nothing I ever got from them was worth the money... from 20 bucks to 100 bucks .. nothing!
