I just bought the 207 RVI off of ebay for $80, I was hearing rave reviews about the chi but the chi could not adjust the temp and this iron gets hotter than the chi. I am satisfied with the chi, I have natural african american coarse hair which takes alot of heat in order to get it straight. It did the job but I had the have it on the 410 degress. I like this iron , I think this iron is the future to the chi because the chi keeps breaking...so I do like my FHI..people keep asking me where did I get my hair done...its all in the heat and in the FHI! :)

I got this iron on christmas day and couldnt wait to use it. it straighten my thick, tangly african american hair in one pass! i was amazed. get a nice heat protectant and your good to go. the heat was great in doing a quick job and the price is worth it. i highly recommend it.

This flat iron is wonderful. I have thick hair and it works great. I am not going to the salon anymore! This is the best investment I made. BUY IT!!!

I'm A Guy, and i use to have to Gel my hair until it was rock solid and felt liek my hair was plastic. I inquired about straightening my hair and making it less frizzy to some of my female friends. Next thing i knew i was researching irons and so on and i ended up buying an FHI 1 inch model. Cannot tell you how many female ladies envy me, i soon found my sell talking to warehouse managers asking if i could purchase in bulk, to date i have sold close to 20 IRONS (FHI only) and i reccomend only getting the VARIABLE HEAT ONES, because they contain a better heater that emits far more negative ions, and again, it is well worth the price. i purchase in bulk and claim very litte profit, contact me at djtana@gmail.com for details. This is a marvelous superb best on the market flat iron HANDS DOWN. ask anyone of my friends. CHI HAI HOT TOOLS or any other generic brand can't hold a candle in the wind to FHI. TRULY AMAZING!!!

I love my FHI flat iron! I’ve tried many, many flat irons, ranging in price from $15 and up, and of course my FHI is my absolute favorite. (My friends love it too; they borrow it as often as possible!) The FHI is expensive, but it is well worth it. Straightening your frizzy, wavy hair in less than 15 minutes? Priceless!
