Don't Waste Your Money!!
Reviewed by: Debbie from Pittsburgh, Wed May 23 2007

I bought one of these a year ago and one morning it just decided to NOT work. So, I went out and stupidly bought another one. Two days ago, THE SAME THING happened. The first one probably lasted about six months; this one lasted only about four months. I used it everyday. I will NOT buy another one of these.

The plastic doesn't hold up to the heat
Reviewed by: Dawn from Knoxville, TN, Fri May 18 2007

This iron worked fine when I first got it, but after using it for about 3 months, it started to smell funny... like a burnt smell... and it would actually smoke (my smoke detectors went off in my house because of it!). The plastic around the handle and the heating element is coming apart... I think the intense heat has caused it to basically "fall apart". I am not extremely pleased with this product and would advise against buying it.

Alright for the amount of $$$$
Reviewed by: Line from , Tue Jan 30 2007

I've had this flat iron for about a year but I think its time for a new one. I find that it doesn't heat up enough to get my hair perfectly straight. I would reccomend this flat iron to someone who has fine or thin hair, but for people with thick hair it takes way too long to straighten. Otherwise, I would say that it IS good value for the price you pay but if you have thicker hair save up for something with a higher temperature.

straightner, duh.

i didn't really like this straightner; it started to burn out really easy and began to burn my hair, while not straightening it.
