Stopped working after 2 years

I purchased my hair iron 2 years ago from Folica.com, and wouldn't you know it, almost to the day the warranty expired, the iron goes crazy! Like millions of other reviewers, I am having the same problem - the iron keeps turning off and I have to twist the cord around and around to get it to heat up. What I don't understand is why Sedu doesn't get it: ELIMINATE THE ROTATING CORD FEATURE! Seems like this design feature is causing the wiring inside the iron to come loose. That said, when this iron does work, it is amazing. I have long, thick, wavy hair and I can straighten my hair in 10 minutes flat. It sure beats fighting for half an hour with a hair dryer!
almost half discount off, how did this happen? Anyway, I like this iron, it makes me attractive :-)

I bought it half year ago, I do not use it everyday but 3 times every week. My hair is long, and a little thick, it used to take about 20 minutes or even half hour to straighten it before I bought this iron, it's agonizing thing. When I used it for the 1st time, it didn't leave a nasty burnt smell as the iron did I bought before, it's really impressed. I think it should be recommended to people who are seeking something that works. It's very easy to use, and leaves me beautiful hair, that's the most important thing I care. :-)

finally...a great iron!

This iron is great. I have been straight drying my long, crazy thick, frizzy hair and then using a conair flat iron after. No more!!I can use the sedu on my DRY curly hair and not have to use a brush and hair drier to straighten my wet hair first. That never worked with my other iron..my hair was left wavy and slightly frizzy still, with an iron only. Instead of an hour it now takes me 20 minutes tops and it is bone straight. I am still afraid of heat damage so I now wash my hair at night, go to bed with it fairly damp and iron it in the morning when it is dry. Less heat on my hair since it is air dried. Overall, the best iron. Spend your money on this!!!

I am 100% satisfied with it Sedu

I have this flat iron, and I am 100% satisfied with it.
The Sedu is awesome. I don't even put it on the highest setting, you probably won't either being that it sounds like we have similar hair. Sedu never snags or pulls my hair, its always smooth and my hair comes out SHINY as hell and beautifully straight.
I've tried other brand however, and I don't like it at all. It makes my hair straight, yes, but dull and damaged-looking.
