Bought this for my teenage daughter and it fell apart when she was using it! Of course it was no longer under warranty as it had just past the 1 year mark. Seems like I have to buy a new one every year.

I do not like this flat iron. It is a pain to use and does NOT get my hair stright! lol jusss kidding...this is the best flat iron i've ever used...thanks to the people who made it!

I haven't bought a flat iron at a high price, except this Sedu ionic flat iron. But listen, this Sedu is absolutely worth the money. It's easy to use, and heats up very fast. Moreover, it protects hair very well from hot damage, and makes the hair shiny, it's really awesome! I will highly recommend it to my friends!

I have very curly hair and this straightener was great on my hair, no frizz and my hair stayed straight which is odd. I bought this straightener last august 2008 and this week about a year later it stopped working. when i jiggle the cord the light goes on and off and thats about it. Its very frustrating to have an expensive straightener only last one year.
