My Sedu flat iron has accompanied me for 2 years, I love the shiny hair it gives me every day. It has long lifespan as comparing to the my friends' flat irons, but it has never seared my hair in the past 2 years, and I really hope it would work longer.

I have had my first Sedu iron for over 4 years and it held up great. It just died last night and first thing this morning I bought a new one without hesitation. Like others have said - the cord on mine is what died - but mine lasted a long time considering other reviewers said theirs lasted a year or even less. It straightened my hair beautifully. I have a strange hair follicle ...its naturally curly but its not coarse and it is considerably fine. It does an excellent job. I am counting down the days until my new one comes in!

This Sedu flat iron is nicely designed with smooth plates, so it may effectively prevent hair loss from pulling the hair when I'm doing the hair-flattening. I enjoy the super straight hair it has given me, and I wanna highly recommend it to anyone who wanna get a high quality flat iron.

I have used 4 flat irons in my life, the previous 3 all stopped in short period. This Sedu flat iron is the only one which works over 9 months, but it's also the more expensive one. Anyway, it's worth, it creates very nice straight hair. I just hope it would work for a long time.

This cord is awful! the first one i bought lasted about one year and then the casing around the plug came off and it eventually shocked me when i pulled it out one day. i called and they send me a new one and the same thing happened.
