My sister had this flat iron and I tried it a couple times for fun (I have hair that's wavy to curly, depending on its mood-- oh and my hair is fine, but I have TONS of it) and liked it. When I went out to buy my own flat iron I went ahead and went with this one, since I at least was familiar with it. I've been pretty happy with it, too. I've had it for half a year now, I guess, and it still works great. I use a heat protector spray for my hair first (sleek.look iron smoother) and then afterwards put a little serum at the ends and my hair looks straight and feels nice and soft until my next shower. I also use a deep conditioner once a week, and even after using my flat iron several times a week (almost daily on my bangs, which are exceptionally curly for some reason) my hair stays healthy.

I'm thinking of upgrading to a nicer one, maybe with ceramic plates since I'm sure this one still damages my hair some, but if I do I'll give this one to my little sister who wants a flat iron. It's a great starter.

i was at my friends houes getting ready for a dance and she wanted to straighten my hair, so i let her. It looked great, but by the end of the night, my hair was curly again

I do like this product very much, you DO need a srum to protect your hair before using it...which overtime creates a film in the plates and now I need to clean Do you guys now how to? I lost all my instructions....

Both my cousin and I were very happy with our new iron when just bought it. But after about 4 months, the plastic started to wear away and break. Most recently, the cracks in the plastic have been grabbing and pulling our hair. I am now shopping for a replacement.
