anything 400 and over burns your hair to a state where it can't bounce back. TRY GHD! LUXURY BRAND FROM THE U.K. IT GOES TO 374-384. AND HAS A MICROCHIP HEAT PROCESSES THAT DETECTS YOUR HAIR'S POROSITY. MADE MY BLONDE HAIR SO SHINY AND SMOOTH. I GOT AMAZING CURLS BY GOING TO THEIR WEBSITE THAT SHOWED ME HOW. CALL A SALON NEAR YOU AND THEY WILL BE ABLE TO GET IT FOR YOU.

Fabulous!
Reviewed by: RD from CA, Mon Jul 9 2007

This is a fabulous straightener! I've had mine for years and it still works as well as when it was new. I've even dropped it (more than once) and it still works great. I found mine on ebay for $130, but I would gladly have paid more for what I've gotten. It straightens in one pass, as opposed to three or four needed with other irons, and it leaves my hair shiny - I also don't have the damage I had with other irons. I also love the digital temperature display. Those who complain of burning need to turn down the temperature - the temp. that it starts on is NOT the lowest setting. I probably won't need to replace it for a long time, but when I do, I will get another Bion!

It IS pricy! But, well, not that bad! At least it works well on my hair, medium thin fine hair. I hope it will last for a little longer!
