what people dont relize is that the CHI iron is built to work with the CHI styling products. for example. if you use CHI silk infusion on your hair and try flat ironing your hair with the CHI you will see minimal to none product build up on your iron , now if you tried it with any other flat iron ex. paul brown, h2pro you will see alot of build up. due to to many impurities in the ceramic.... and this is why CHI is the best

I have had a chi turbo for about 5 months, and about a week ago it started shorting out on me, whenever I would move the cord, it would shut off! Definitely purchase wisely!

I bought one of these when they first came out and thought it was awesome. Since then i have purchased 3 in 2 months and everyone of them have the same problem....there is a short or something in it and the light starts to flicker, then it goes off, and I have to wait until it comes back on to start fixing my hair again. Not worth the money. I contacted the Farouk website and they stated there is a new model of the chi out and that it is supposed to be better......IT IS NOT!!! All the bad reviews have said the same thing...same problem. Purchase wisely!

I had a chi for a year and loved it, and when the light started going out and stopped heating, I thought it was just old and bought a new one. A few months after the same thing happened, so I replaced it under warranty, and the very first time I used the new one, the light went out and stopped heating! I just bought a Sedu today so I hope that works better!

I loved my chi flat iron....till the plates broke off and I had to "chuck" it. You would think that for the price I paid, it would have lasted longer than a few months. Had the same problem like the girl from Ohio. KEEP YOUR BOX AND RECEIPT.
