I tried the chi original 1" about two years ago and since then it has done wonders for my hair! I've actually used the chi turbo iron and almost every other iron out there to "test" whether or not they can stand up to the chi and guess what? They can't! If you want shine and compliments EVERY time you go out- cop this flat iron! Along with the Chi Transformation line of hair products, everyone will think that your hair is thermally reconditioned! Great, great,great iron!

I have had my chi for about 2 years now & I don't know what I would do without it!!! It gives my hair *such* a straight, sleek look! People don't believe that I straighten my hair when I tell them that I do. I constantly am being told that they've never seen a straightener make hair look so naturally sleek. ~ I have never had a problem with the heat lessening over time, or any other problems at all! (& I have dropped that thing way too many times to count!) ~ Although the price seems pretty steep for a flat iron, it is totally worth it! ~ :)

have used the Chi for a few months and really loved it...until it broke. It started shorting out and the weird thing is that most of my friends who have a Chi have had the exact same problem with it shorting out. It's a good flat iron, but for the price it needs to last longer than a year.

my friends mom got the chi and used it on me...my hair isnt that wavy or curly but it looks reely rat nesty when i blow or air dry it. she used the chi on me and suddenly my hair was stick straight and smooth...and it only took about 15 minutes!! the only problem is the price...and ive heard the plates tend to break.
