I purchased my HAI 2 over 3 years ago (when it was $150!). I bought it because it was one of only a couple with the ceramic plates. I have thick hair with fine texture (lots of hair per square inch but fine). It leaves my hair smooth and silky every time. I'm very fussy about my hair (and probably you are too!). This is a great iron. I will say that my 1st HAI 2 died after 2 months. I returned it to the online company I purchased it from and it was replaced. Since then--zero problems. I'm very happy! :)

i hate it it doesnt work on my hair. it makes my hair even more fizzer tahn before. Dont buy it!!

At first I wasn't sure if I actually wanted to get this. I thought it was going to be anoher straightner that did nothing, I was wrong. I am so happy that I got this! I can straighten my hair in seconds instead of the hour that I normally would have spent on it! This is the best thing I ever bought online!

My hair used to be dreadful, wavy, and thick until i got this! Now my hair is thin looking, straight and sleek! Also shiny and smooth! I am in love with this! Spend the $105!!!!!!!

The straightener I had before this one damaged my hair and gave me lots of split ends- but I LOVE this one. I have really thick hair, so even at 400 degrees it doesn't burn, but you might want to be careful if you have thin hair. I have frizzy hair, but it looks so smooth afterward!
