I just purchased my first HAI flat iron. I've had two Babyliss irons in the past and although they heat to almost the same temperature as the HAI, there is no comparison in how well they straighten my hair. There's a noticable difference in the quality of the straightener. So far so good!

I loved it intill it blew out, I had it for 3yrs. Was vacation in spain ,and well the outlets are so powerfull,even the adapter blew up.It's worth buying I miss it. I am planning to buy another Hai, but don't know which one should I buy.

I do not understand how this item gets such great reviews when most consumers are complaining about the cord shorting out after 2 years. Ease of use? that's a given it's a flat iron!

I had my convertible for about 3 yrs. I never had any electrical problems with it-I can no longer use it because after dropping it about four times on hard tile floors the plates came loose from the unit but it still works! The plates are hanging from the unit but i have to get another one-I used it almost every day.

It worked great for just about 2 years then the cord began to short out and after 2 days of use in that condition it simply decided not to work. No one seems to know where to contact the company and all who sell it can't do a thing about getting you that information. Unfoutunately I have to buy another and although it gave out on me at a very curtial time, I am going to give it another shot. This time I am keeping the box and all the paperwork. I won't pay the 150 for it as I did the first, for this time the internet had it for 79.95. That's not too bad and I need one ASAP. It works great while it lasts.
