I have extremely thick, long, frizzy, curly hair. I have had many irons, but until I got this one, I have never known how flat my hair could be! Wahoo! And it resists weather, so I can even get caught in the rain, and my hair stays straight.

I just got this iron after my other Chi broke which I loved. I hate this thing it does not get as hot as my last one because it has an automatic switch off and if you have very curly hair like me you need it to get hot. Today I decided to use it again and today it did not even turn on! It sucks, I would not spend the money on it

Wow, after watching my friend straigten her hair with it, her hair looked wonderful!! I haven't used it yet but im willing to soon.. I really hope this straightener works, i mean everyone is saying its an awesome straightener and it works really good.... i have kinda wavy hair... but hopefully this is worth 220$!

I have used many flat irons. My two most favorite are the CHI and the Sedu. It is important to look for ionic flat irons. They help lock in shine and help seal the ends of your hair reducing the chance split ends. Even though they are both ceramic, it's still not a good idea to use while your hair is damp, they're still 200 degrees & do remember to always apply some kind of protectant to your hair before you use that will protect your hair from the heat. If by chance you are near a trade secret and you own a chi that happens to break, they offer a lifetime warranty on your chi. So, even of you didn't even buy it from there, if anything happens to it, just bring by the broken chi and they will replace it with a new one, no matter what happens, even if it's 50 years from now. :)Another reason why the Chi was a smart buy for me.

I hate this iron I broke 3 months after I got it ! It does straighten your hair but just as good as a $15.00 conair!!!
